ABOUT KATIE
I am a highly experienced English teacher who has worked in various leadership positions within English departments in a range of schools. I am also an experienced GCSE English examiner and currently mark English Literature for AQA. This means I have excellent up-to-date knowledge of what the exam boards require.
I love my job! I have a passion for both my subject and for teaching young people. I feel strongly that all students are able to feel confident and achieve in English and that there are no barriers to this that cannot be overcome. I adapt and tailor my teaching approach to the needs and ambitions of the individual, and I begin all my tutoring contracts with a free diagnostic consultation with the student and their caregiver.
ABOUT KATE
I am a highly experienced languages teacher (French and Spanish) with 20 years experience in a range of schools in Kent and Sussex, teaching Spanish to GCSE and A level and French to GCSE. I have a thorough knowledge of the requirements of the AQA and Edexcel exam boards.
I am passionate about languages and love enabling all learners to achieve their potential. Building confidence is at the core of what I offer, through targeted gap filling and exam technique coaching. My experience and excellent subject knowledge mean that I know how to get the best from my students.

Individual or group lessons created especially for your child. These can follow the conventional curriculum or go 'off-piste' and allow the student's interests to drive the content while developing core knowledge, literacy and critical thinking skills.
A 'flipped learning' approach is often the perfect way to support students being educated at home. Through this model students can be provided with material and study guidance in advance and lesson time is then spent exploring and deepeing undertanding.
